Italian sensation Jannik Sinner continues to shock the world with his greatness. As one of the emerging players of the year, the Italian has been on a high since the start of the year. After showing his brilliance on hard courts, he took it to the clay courts.

However, Rune was looking to extend his H2H lead against Sinner and fought back to push the game into a third set. With a spot in the semi-finals on the line and a chance at revenge, Sinner did not give in a bit. He went all-out in the last set to beat Rune 6-4, 7-6, 6-3.

A huge win for Sinner, who got his revenge against Rune and secured his spot in the semi-finals of Monte Carlo. This is the second time that Sinner has made it to the semi-finals, and he would hope to get the most out of this chance.

Jannik Sinner extends his 2024 win streak to 25 as he lands himself in his second consecutive Monte Carlo Semifinals

Jannik Sinner, the man in form, continues to extend his historic win streak as he beat Holger Rune to acquire his 25th win of the season. Not only is this his 25th win, but also his 46th win since the 2023 US Open. With only three losses since then, Sinner has quickly taken over the rankings.

Now, he is in line for his second consecutive Monte Carlo semi-final. Last year, he lost to Rune in the semi-finals, but this time, Sinner looks in sweet form and is a strong contender for the title. Furthermore, this is his fifth semi-final of the year.

Till now, Italy has played in five tournaments and has reached the semifinals in all the tournaments. Now, World No. 2 will face 2-time Monte Carlo winner Stefanos Tsitsipas in the semis. Another huge match lines up as the two hope to make it to the finals.
