After securing a win in the third round against Pedro Cachin at the Madrid Open, Spanish pro Rafael Nadal shared an adorable moment with his son and wife, as he planted kisses on their cheeks. The heartwarming celebration left fans in awe as they witnessed the joy of the Spanish ace’s victory.

After taking down the No.10 Seed Alex de Minaur in the second round, Nadal was pushed to all limits in the next match against the Argentine. The Spaniard, who had narrowly lost the second set, faced a challenge to play a third set but managed to beat Cachin and win the match 6-1, 6(5)-7, 6-3.

However, the scenes after the match were one of the moments of the day as an X user captured Nadal meeting his family after the match. Firstly, the Spaniard gave a kiss to his wife before lifting his son and kissing him. That was not it, as the video also captured some more behind the scenes.

Nadal was seen playfully throwing his son in the air as they walked out of the stadium. Throughout the tournament, his son has been present in his father’s box, cheering him however possible.

Junior Rafael Nadal caught in another adorable moment as he claps for his dad

This time around, a new face is present in Nadal’s box. His son, Rafa Junior, has been there for most of Nadal’s matches this year and is a main supporter of his dad. Even in the most recent match, the toddler was seen clapping for his dad.

It was a heartwarming moment for Nadal, who expressed his desire for his child to have memories of him playing. Despite previously revealing that he won’t continue in tennis for much longer, Nadal is grateful to be able to play with his family by his side.

Even if it’s for just short period of time and doesn’t matter if he doesn’t know anything about what happened, that stays there and for me, it’s a great memory.

Now, the Spaniard moves up a round and will face the Czech prodigy Jiri Lehecka in the fourth-round clash. Backing his confidence and skill, Nadal would only hope to last longer in Madrid and get as close as possible to winning his sixth title at the tournament.
