Though many fans are eagerly waiting for April 26 to watch the movie in theaters, some of them body-shamed Zendaya for being too skinny.

In an interview with Vogue, Zendaya revealed she had limited knowledge of tennis before signing for the film and knew just the Williams sister and 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer.
In another interview with Entertainment Tonight, Zendaya revealed she was nervous when Serena Williams watched the premiere in Los Angeles.
However, the 23-time Grand Slam champion, who found out the balls used in the film were not real tennis balls, praised the actress’ skills who had never played the game before. The 27-year-old actress also spoke about her Vogue interview with Williams.
