Carlos Alcaraz forearm injury keeping him out

While Carlos Alcaraz seemed to have a great time celebrating his 21st birthday with the people he loves, the Spaniard is being troubled by injuries that are keeping him away from the tennis court. The latest of them is a forearm injury that has proved to be a roadblock for Alcaraz.

The 21-year-old lost his quarterfinal match at the 2024 Madrid Open against Andrey Rublev as he could not play to his potential. Alcaraz then pulled out of the Rome Masters citing the same injury concern. It is taking longer than expected for it to heal and with the French Open approaching, it can be an issue for the youngster.

Also, the 2024 Paris Olympics is lined up and Alcaraz would not want to miss out on the chance to pair up with Rafael Nadal on the latter’s swansong. It is to be seen how the World No. 3 prepares for the second Grand Slam tournament as he stays out of action in the weeks leading to the tournament.
