The new King and Queen of Centre Court were crowned during a dramatic finals weekend at Wimbledon, with Carlos Alcaraz taking home his second straight trophy at SW19 and Barbora Krejcikova clinching her second major title in singles.
On Sunday evening, the pair were dressed to the nines as they joined fellow winners for the tournament’s traditional dinner—a glittering night of celebration after an intense fortnight of competition.

Held at the Raffles London hotel at the Old War Office, the annual ball is a longstanding custom marking the end of The Championships, which sees the champions show off their newly acquired trophies and pose for portraits, as well as receive their honorary All England Club memberships and more.
Of course, every tennis fan’s favorite moment of the Wimbledon Champions Dinner is watching the gentlemen’s and ladies’ singles champions pair up for a graceful dance.
Well, it’s probably supposed to be graceful…
“Thanks for the dance, (Carlos), but I think we better stick to playing tennis?” Krejcikova wrote on Instagram later, after the pair’s hilariously stiff twirling to Dua Lipa’s “Dance The Night” was roasted on social media.
Judging by both of their huge grins, the Wimbledon champions still seemed like they had a great time:

Already a 10-time Grand Slam winner in doubles, Krejcikova dedicated her Wimbledon triumph in singles to countrywoman and mentor Jana Novotna, the 1998 singles champion who passed away in 2017 due to cancer.
“I think she would be proud,” Krejcikova told press afterward. “I think she would be really excited that I’m on a same board as she is, because Wimbledon was super special for her.”

The day after her victory, the 28-year-old was glammed up for the champions’ dinner in a green A-line gown by Jovani featuring an embellished bodice with an open back and dramatic skirt—perfect for spinning in the dance with Alcaraz.

For Alcaraz, his second consecutive Wimbledon title seemed to mark a changing of the guard at the top of men’s tennis—especially with a statement-making scoreline of 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (4) against the 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic.
But afterward, he seemed more concerned about whether or not he’d be able to catch Spain in the 2024 European Championships final, which was scheduled for the same time as the dinner.

“I will watch it for sure on the phone the first half. The second half I will watch on the TV over there,” Alcaraz cheekily told press after the match.
“I can’t miss it. It’s going to be a really big moment for the Spanish people… As they were watching my final, I have to watch their final and support them.”
Arriving at the venue just slightly late and with a huge grin on his face—likely celebrating Spain’s triumph in a 2-1 thriller over England—Alcaraz wore a Louis Vuitton tuxedo and Rolex Cosmograph Daytona for the occasion.
The 21-year-old earned congratulations from the maison after his fourth Grand Slam victory, having been named a global brand ambassador for the LVMH-owned company back in 2023.
“What I love about Louis Vuitton is that they are more than just a fashion brand…” Alcaraz has previously said of the partnership. “They understand how to mix fashion with art, design, sport and music, to make something unique and special.”
Earlier this year, Louis Vuitton even created one of its iconic custom trunks for Alcaraz—a replica of which is available for a retail price of $164,000.
