Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek both surpass 30 million dollars in career prize money

They both hit the same prize money milestone at the same time following their triumphs at Roland Garros.

Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek were the stars of the show at Roland Garros this year, winning their third and fifth career Grand Slam titles, respectively, at the clay-court major.

But the trophy isn’t all they got—they both got a nifty 2.4 million Euros in prize money. And with that, they both hit the same milestone, a big one, at the same time—Alcaraz and Swiatek have both surpassed $30 million in career prize money.

They’re the 22nd and 23rd players to reach that career prize money milestone in either ATP or WTA history, and the first two players born in the 2000s to achieve the feat.

Alcaraz is the 14th man to hit that number (and he leapfrogs a number of other players to move up to ninth all-time):

2024 Roland Garros was the second Grand Slam event Alcaraz and Swiatek won at the same time, after the 2022 US Open.
