Novak Djokovic fires warning to Rory McIlroy as he hits the golf course, ready to tee it out

Novak Djokovic‘s engagement in various sports beyond tennis solidifies him as an icon. Besides his passion for basketball and football, Djokovic’s enthusiasm for playing golf stands out as one of his biggest joys.

In a recent social media post, he recently teased golf legend Rory McIlroy as he practiced on the golf court. The 24-time Grand Slam winner last year participated in the All-Star golf event, the Ryder Cup. He joined the likes of soccer stars Andriy Shevchenko and Gareth Bale, with Formula 1 star Carlos Sainz, also involved.

While still in the heat of the clay season, the Serbian star took his time out to practice more on the golf court. He teased Mcllroy with pictures of holding a golf club and aiming for the ball in an Instagram post.

Golf day. Watch out Rory McIlroy.

Novak Djokovic wrote on Instagram

This year’s Ryder Cup has been slated to be hosted in New York, with the American golf Legend returning to grace the occasion. But, there are yet to be any reports on whether Djokovic will be competing with the European Team this year.
