Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, 53, celebrated Christmas with six of his seven children in a heartwarming series of Instagram photos. In one sweet snapshot, he cradled his newborn daughter, Love, whose arrival he announced this month, although TMZ reports she was born in October.
Diddy’s sons Quincy, 31, and Christian, 24, along with his 16-year-old daughters Chance, D’Lila Star, and Jessie James, all donned matching pajamas alongside him. He captioned the festive post, “Merry Christmas from my family to yours!” adding a heartfelt nod to his new daughter with the word “LOVE.”
Fans were surprised by the birth announcement, as Diddy managed to keep the news under wraps until recently. At the time of Love’s birth and still today, he has been in an open relationship with 28-year-old rapper Yung Miami.
Diddy’s eldest biological child, 28-year-old Justin, whom he shares with stylist Misa Hylton, did not appear in the Christmas photos. However, Diddy was joined by the children he has raised, including four with his late ex, Kim Porter, who passed away four years ago.
Diddy adopted Kim’s son Quincy, whose biological father is singer Al B. Sure!, and together they had three children: Christian and twins Jessie and D’Lila. In the same year the twins were born, Diddy also welcomed his daughter Chance with another woman, Sarah Chapman.
Reflecting on fatherhood in a Teen Vogue interview a couple of years ago, Diddy expressed, “I don’t know if you can really explain in words the happiness and joy that I feel. It’s like I’m going through the ultimate midlife crisis being a single father raising three teenage girls, but it’s love and nothing else.” He added, “I truly feel like this is God’s way of making me into the best human I can become; it’s been life-changing.”
