Jayden Daniels won week 8.
Daniels looked to the heavens and made a miracle happen on Sunday at Northwest Stadium. The Commanders quarterback launched a 52-yard pass into the end zone and somehow managed to get the ball to drop in the hands of Noah Brown after it was tipped by a Chicago Bears defender.
By now, everyone has single every angle of this moment, from the reaction of the fans, the reaction of the players, and even the reaction of the head coach.
What we are now seeing is the reaction from Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.
A camera was trained on him after Noah brown caught his Hail Mary, and it showed him jumping up and down and talking crap to the Chicago Bears sideline.
We can only hope he was mic’d up so we could hear what the dynamic rookie was saying to them.
Daniels’ Hail Mary touchdown pass to Noah Brown gave the Commanders an 18-15 victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday night and gave everyone the play of the year so far.
Jayden Daniels was 21-of-38 with 326 passing yards and the game-winning touchdown pass.
Jayden Daniels Speaks After Incredible Hail Mary
Jayden Daniels was questionable to play for much of the week, but in the end, it was a good thing he did play.
Facing the Chicago Bears, the Commanders held a slim 12-7 lead for much of the 4th quarter, but it would evaporate as Caleb Williams led a go-ahead touchdown drive inside a minute remaining.
Daniels was able to get the ball up to Washington’s 48-yard line for one final heave at the buzzer, and he delivered.
Immediately after the game, a stunned Daniels was asked to go through that miraculous play.
“Nothing but God, man, nothing but God. Without Him, I didn’t even think I’d be playing this week,” said Daniels. “But man, all glory to God.”

Zach Wilson’s ex-girlfriend Abbey Gile has gotten engaged to the Denver Broncos quarterback’s former college teammate.
Washington Commanders wide receiver Dax Milne, Wilson’s old roommate at BYU and his ex-best friend, got Abbey Gile to say yes on Monday. He announced as much on Instagram, sharing photos of the two of them on a beach as he popped the age-old question.
This development comes just a week after Wilson and his current girlfriend, Nicollete Dellanno, disclosed they got engaged during a holiday in Italy.
Wilson and Gile were a couple in high school but broke up in 2022. It was later revealed that she had hooked up with Milne.
The revelation led to the WR being called a “homie hopper” on social media. However, Abbey shot back, claiming that Zach Wilson was “was sleeping with his mom’s best friend … that’s the real homie hopper.”
She subsequently deleted her Instagram account, with Milne turning off comments on his new relationship.
Zach Wilson’s Old Roommate Was A Seventh-Round Pick In 2021
Dax Milne was drafted by Washington in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft, later signing a four-year rookie deal.
He made 13 appearances for the Commanders that year, registering nine receptions for 83 yards. The wideout added six catches for 13 yards and a touchdown in 2022 but spent last term sidelined with a groin injury.
Meanwhile, the New York Jets traded Zach Wilson to Denver this offseason after an underwhelming spell with the latter.
