The countdown to the Paris Olympics has started, and Novak Djokovic knows what he will be wearing at the tournament and when he heads to North America for the summer hard-court swing.

It’s win or bust for Djokovic, who is still chasing a gold medal at the Olympic Games in Paris. For a man who has broken almost every tennis record, this is the one prize that has eluded him in his illustrious career.

The Olympic tennis tournament will kick off on Saturday, July 27th. It will be played on the clay of Roland Garros. Djokovic will represent Serbia in his fifth Olympics. He was a bronze medalist at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, defeating American James Blake in the play-off match.

The former World No. 1 stumbled in the semifinal stage to Andy Murray in his second Olympics in London four years later. He lost the bronze medal match to Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina.

His most disappointing Olympic campaign was at the 2016 Rio, where del Potro defeated him for a second time in the opening match. Djokovic was the overwhelming favorite to win gold in 2021 but lost the bronze medal match to Pablo Carreno Busta for the second time in his career.

Djokovic Outfit for 2024 Paris Olympics Revealed

Djokovic will wear an outfit tailored by his clothing sponsor, Lacoste, in Serbia’s flag colors of red, blue, and white. The top is bright red and features the country’s flag near the top of his right shoulder. He will wear white shorts and socks.

The footwear company ASICS has also revealed his official tennis shoe at the tournament. It is plain white and accentuated with a blue ASICS logo, a red line on its throat, and a blue outsole.

In the official photoshoot unveiling the outfit, Djokovic is pictured covered in the Serbian flag. He also showed fans his pose while lining up for a backhand shot while wearing the new kit.

After the Olympics, Djokovic will travel to North America. His first stop will be in Canada to compete in the Montreal Masters. It will be his first visit to Montreal since 2015, when he lost the championship match to Andy Murray, and his first involvement at the Canadian Open since Toronto 2018. And there, he will also be wearing a new outfit.

It is still possible that Djokovic will skip Canada and play Cincinnati and the US Open like he did last year. Depending on his progress at the Olympic Games, he might change his schedule.

But for now, he wants to compete in all three big North American tournaments. His outfit for that swing has been revealed, and predictably, it will be the familiar blue colors from last year when he won the Cincinnati Open and his 24th Grand Slam at the US Open.

Djokovic will wear a light blue polo shirt with unique light blue panels on the front and navy blue shorts. The outfit also includes a two-piece zip-up jacket that is dark blue and has two blocks of light blue on the upper and lower body.

He will also wear black athletic shoes from ASICS. The sneakers have a light blue touch on their heels, and the company’s logo is plain white on its throat and quarter line.
